Fostering Jayhawk Success is a no-cost support network at the University of Kansas that helps students with foster care experience navigate college and stay on track toward graduation. It connects students with a dedicated point of contact and a network of campus staff, faculty, and peers who can help with resources, policies, and services that affect their success.

 

The program also provides access to opportunities like TRIO Student Support Services and guidance on supports such as tuition waivers, Independent Living services, and other campus resources.

 

Overall, it is designed to strengthen academic progress, personal well-being, and degree completion for students with experience in foster care (SEFC) at KU.
