International Foster Care Learning Opportunity

Thirteen years after its founding, the International Foster Care Alliance (IFCA) is embarking on a new project this year. Over the next year, we will host four symposia featuring 25 young leaders (many of whom are advocates) who have experienced out-of-home care in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. They will share their personal stories and discuss systemic issues and efforts to address them.

You are cordially invited to the first open virtual symposium, which will take place on Sunday, September 27^th, 2026. The event will feature speeches and discussions by seven youth representing Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brazil and the United States.
