About the event
Our inaugural webinar will be held Monday, January 28, 2019, Noon-1pm Pacific Time (3-4pm Eastern Time). The presenter will be Sebrena Jackson, PhD., LCSW, MSW Program Director at the University Alabama. Her presentation, entitled Preparing foster youth for college: A Pre-college Summer Program Experience, will discuss a 6 week summer program designed specifically for foster youth, The National Social Work Enrichment Program (NSEP). The four key program components of NSEP will be discussed. Implications for social work practice, policy, and research will also be highlighted.
